January 19, 2010 – SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Cloud storage service provider Zetta today announced that the Zetta Enterprise Cloud Storage™ service has been recognized by Storage Magazine and Searchstorage.com as a 2009 Product of the Year finalist in the storage management category. Earlier last week, Zetta was also selected as a 2010 Hot Companies finalist by Network Products Guide. These awards come on the heels of the recent recognition the company has received from Network World, the publication that selected Zetta as one of the 10 startups to watch in 2010.

 

The finalists in this year’s SearchStorage competition were broken into five storage product categories: backup and disaster recovery hardware, backup and disaster recovery software and services, disks and disk subsystems, storage management tools and storage networking equipment. The article states that the chosen finalists “demonstrated exceptional innovation, functionality and value.”
