Zetta Receives Innovation Award For Its Enterprise Cloud Storage Solution

March 1, 2010 – SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Cloud storage service provider Zetta today announced two new industry recognitions for its Enterprise Cloud Storage service. The Zetta cloud storage solution is a winner of the Network Products Guide 2010 Innovation award for storage and a finalist for the CODiE Awards in the Best Cloud Infrastructure Platform category.

 

Last month, Everything Channel's CRN named Zetta as one of the “20 Coolest Cloud Storage Vendors,” and the Zetta solution was also a finalist for the 2009 Storage Magazine and Searchstorage.com Product of the Year award. In January this year, Network World named Zetta as one of the 10 startups to watch in 2010.

 

For the CODiE Awards this year, 188 products from 136 companies were selected as finalists from more than 785 nominations submitted by 374 companies. Nominated products underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field. Originally called the “Excellence in Software Awards,” the CODiEs were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), which preceded the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose — to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts.

 

The annual Network Products Guide Innovation award recognizes and honors vendors, large and small, from all over the world with innovative and ground-breaking products that are bringing essential and incremental changes and are setting the bar higher for others in all areas of information technology.
